Welcome back!

Today I wanted to cover the most result-based morning routine that I’ve uncovered.

We see so much advice about morning routines in books, on YouTube, on podcasts, etc.

Entrepreneurs have realized that they only have 24-hours in a day and they want to make the most of it.

They want to be productive and healthy.

And most entrepreneurs are just naturally high achievers, right?

So-called experts give us long lists of what a perfect morning routine should include.

Things like…






Eat certain nutritious foods



These are amazing!

It is healthy and productive advice.

However, what I see are my clients trying to do their morning routine perfectly… and wanting to check these things off like a to-do list.

If something comes up in their real life and they don’t complete this self-inflicted list they feel terrible about themselves which then crushes their confidence and energy and therefore their income.

Treating your sacred morning routine like a stick to beat yourself up with because you didn’t complete everything, or treating it like a never-ending to-do list, defeats the entire purpose of a productive and healthy morning routine!

Or, I see some clients spending most of the day on these high-level self-care tasks and they never get to the tasks and projects in their life and business that really would move their income and influence forward and change their life forever.

So what do I propose?

I propose starting with a non-negotiable goal for the day, not what is in a self-help book or what all others are doing on YouTube for their perfect morning routine.

Start with a non-negotiable for what you want to achieve in your life right now.

Get that done first.

Then everything else can fit in around it.

This helps you in so many ways…

  1. You get the thing done first that will have the most impact in your life and/or business - it actually gets done.  It is not forwarded to the next day, and then the next day, and then the next.
  2. You get the confidence boost of having that big thing done.  People are buying your energy, confidence, and certainty that you can help them solve a problem or achieve a result.  You’ve got to keep that confidence and energy level on point.
  3. Now, with that one big thing done you can actually enjoy the self-care things in a typical morning routine without any anxiety or rushing.

So throw out everything in your morning routine and focus on the one daily activity that will change your life right now.

For you is that…




Creating content?

Choose the one that you have the most resistance around.

For example, if I have no resistance around exercise and I’m motivated to do it at any time of day - I wouldn’t choose that as my non-negotiable right now - I’ve already built that habit.

For me, since I took so much time off the last few months - engaging and networking on social media isn’t a habit for me and it is what will move my business forward - the one-to-one conversations on social media and pure outreach.

So right now I’d pick outreach and in about 30-90 days when that becomes a habit, I’ll choose something else as my non-negotiable.
