I NEVER Understood The Traditional Launch Strategy That Is Taught All Over The Internet!
It Just Never Made Sense To Me.
The traditional launch strategy and sequencing is exhausting, stressful, and completely takes over your life.
ONE guy a few years ago wrote a book about how to do an online launch and then EVERYBODY thought that was the ONE way that you had to launch.
Entrepreneurs were following this system blindly and feeling like they would never have a 6-figure launch unless they did it this ONE exhausting way.
This launch system was even breeding peer pressure, comparison, and competition in the online world – weren’t these supposed to be unique FREEDOM businesses?
His launch system was a very pushy and masculine way to launch… which leads to even more exhaustion if you prefer working from inspired action, flow, and the magic of momentum.
His system was cookie-cutter and had no room for creativity or working in your own unique way with your energy.
The traditional launching system is NOT open to everyone – you need a BIG team and a BIG ad budget to pull it off.

1. Your Ideas Have A Shelf Life.
I’ll be you have notebooks upon notebooks, upon napkins, upon sticky notes, full of BRILLIANT ideas!
I’ll bet that you were SUPER excited about the idea when it came to you.
I’ll bet that a lot of time has passed and now the idea has lost its magic.
That is if you can even find the notes you made in the first place.
Ideas have a shelf life.
If you leave too much time in between the initial download of the idea to launch, you leave yourself open for procrastination, second-guessing yourself, overthinking and just the sheer loss of your own excitement for the idea.
A lot of time between idea and launch leaves a lot of time for you to come up with evidence as to why this launch “probably won’t work and is just a waste of time.”
People buy your energy, not your programs/products.
So if that energy is lost – that may be why your launches in the past haven’t been as successful as they might have been.
That is if you even made it to the launch in the first place.
2. You Won’t Make Any Money Unless You Launch Something.
Simple as that – nothing to sell, nothing for anyone to buy.
Stop leaving money on the table!
People are finding your website, your podcast, your social media posts, etc. every day — have something for them ready.
3. Your Business Should Be Bringing In Money DAILY.
Can you imagine a shop in your hometown opening and closing all the time?
You show up at their door and they have closed again – that is how your website visitors feel when your launch cart is closed.
This hurts your trust factor online.
They finally FOUND you online – through all the noise they found you!
They FOUND your program that will solve their problem… but your cart is closed.
You are leaving money on the table if you continue to open and close your cart on your programs.
Plus, wouldn’t it be nice to get payment notifications daily?
4. New Prospects/Followers Stumble Upon You DAILY.
This means that people are searching for you and finding you online (yay! what we all want, right?).
But if you are in the middle of a huge launch when they stumble upon you – it might be a little too much for them with the traditional launching system.
They will get inundated with messaging and emails that they may not be ready for.
You’ve only just met, right?
I’d rather have a steady stream of emails over time than a huge blast of them over 3-10 days.
This evens out your workflow too – leaving you less stressed about having to produce and send everything during the launch.
5. Your Prospects Are Ready To Buy When They Are Ready To Buy and Solve Their Problem…
NOT because you happen to be launching something at a certain time.
Some people have been on my list for YEARS and never made a purchase.
Some people arrived on my website or list for the first time today and made a purchase.
People are ready to purchase when they are ready to purchase.
You can add gimmicks in like scarcity or price increases to your marketing plan, but those strategies will only entice those who are ready to purchase right now.
The ones whose pain is great enough and are ready to make a change.
The gimmicks will support those who are already ready in making a faster decision to purchase.
But you are not fooling anyone – those who are not ready to purchase are just not ready…. yet (but you can capture them in your evergreen funnel later.)
Be there for them when they are, but don’t be pushy or salesy.
They’ll thank you for it.
6. Perfectionists Are Usually Broke.
This one is true for sure! I was a perfectionist for years… and broke… until I stopped that madness.
Most likely you are not currently launching some great idea you received because of some form of perfectionism.
You don’t know the perfect pricing structure.
You don’t know how to make the sales page perfect.
You are worried about the learning curve for the technology you need to launch.
You don’t know how to run Facebook ads yet.
You’re not sure that this is the right time to launch.
What should you call your program?
You don’t want to create a video for your launch until you lose weight, get your hair done, get new clothes, etc.
You don’t know if anyone will buy.
Maybe the other idea you had last month would be better to launch first.
All these excuses!
You could have launched something by now.
7. There Is NO One Right Way To Do A Launch Sequence.
Your launch sequence can be as unique as you are.
It can be as unique as your audience is.
Hate doing videos? Don’t don’t force yourself to do a three-part video series then – that negative energy will come through.
Know your audience is just like you and prefers audios? Do that!
Love speaking in person, but think that is an outdated way to market? Who cares! Do it anyway if you prefer that way.
You don’t have to pay for ads or have a big team to have a “real” launch.
